DISTRIBUTION:

The Indian Pond Heron (Ardeola grayii) is natural to Asia. Its distribution extends from the Middle East to Indochina.

HABITAT:

Frequent in the proximity of water, could be fresh water, brackish water or saltwater.

BEHAVIOR:

It is more active during the night.

REPRODUCTION:

The nest is done on trees. The clutch is tree to five greenish blue eggs.
